What We Believe.

Jesus.

Jesus is the Son of God (John 3:16). He left Heaven and came to earth in the form of a baby to physically display His love for humanity (Isaiah 9:6). Despite never sinning, Jesus was mocked, falsely accused, and crucified (Isaiah 53:5). He willingly died for the sins of man (Romans 5:8), and on the third day He rose from the dead. He is alive today and one glorious day He will return on the clouds.

The Trinity.

There is only one true living God (1 Timothy 2:5). He is eternal, holy, righteous and everlasting. Our God is three in one; God the Father, Jesus the Son of God, and the Holy Ghost (Eph. 4:4-6; John 14:26; 1 Cor. 12:4-6). These three are co-existent, co-equal, and co-eternal. Three distinct Persons, forming one true Deity.

The Bible.

The Bible is infallible, sacred, and should be studied if we want to know the character of God. John 1 tells us that the Word of God started from the beginning of time and that the Word is God. We believe the Holy Bible is living, sharper than any two-edged sword, and powerful enough to speak to souls (Hebrews 4:12). The scriptures are prophetic, God-breathed, and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and for training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).

The Church.

Jesus Christ is the head of the church (Eph. 1:22-23). The church is not rooted as a religious institution or one singular denomination (John 17:21-22). Rather, the church is comprised of authentic followers of Jesus Christ who have submitted to Him as Lord and Savior (Col. 1:18). The church’s primary purpose serves to worship God and fulfill the Great Commission through making disciples and proclaiming the truth of the Gospel (Matt. 28:18-20). The local church is made up of men and women who have received redemption and devote themselves to teaching, serving, prayer, and fellowship (Acts 2:42-47).

Marriage.

The Bible says God created marriage and was designed to happen between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:18&24; Eph. 5:25&33; Matt. 19:4-6). Scriptures reference Jesus as the bridegroom (John 3:29) and the bride of Christ as the church (Revelation 19:7-9). The union of marriage between one man and one woman is designed to represent Christ’s love for His church.
